I'm working with your ACL module layout and in index.php it runs $application->bootstrap(); This loads the modules/Bootstrap.php and the Bootstrap.php files in each of the modules (admin,default,library). Is there a way to prevent running the module-name/Bootstrap.php files when accessing the default module? Cheers

Looks like one way I can do it is to use _initResourceName as autoloaded bootstrap resources and just ResourceName for functions I want to bootstrap manually.

I do not think there is a way to skip bootstrap files because it is the fundamental procedure in ZF for application initialization. It HAS to go through each bootstrap file in order to be aware of all modules, controllers etc. available. What is your purpose?
