Thanks Alex for the tutorial.
I think you could user namespaces in you XHTML to maintain it valid, e.g.:
...
and somewhere above it declare the custom namespace for instance:

and then jQuery would be: $("a").attr('a:page').
Cheers!

hi, I have a problem with this solution. when I move through my book list, sometimes the css is not displayed for less then a second. any idea how to fix that?

and there seems to be another strange problem. I have written my own json parser so now it works for older browser versions too. but I hava a problem with older firefox version. beginning, end, previous and next works but accessing the pages through their numbers does not work in firefox, only page 1 can be accessed by clicking on "1". this seems to be a strange problem. any ideas whats wrong there?

@nad2000 Good suggestion. I will start doing that from now on.

@AD
first one is an issue I noticed with YAML CSS toolkit. I did all code tracing and network monitoring I could think of and I still do not see what it is doing for so long. I think I'll just drop it in favor of some well written template.

second is my negligence. I made no effort adjusting the Z_Paginator to handle AJAX requests. Tutorial was for jQuery so I did not want to diverge back into paginator. I noticed this problem only many months later. Maybe I should actually fix it

I have a problem with the paginator, I have implemented it like in your tutorial and it works fine, but the pagination navigation displays just page links until page 10. when I click on forward it goes to 11, 12... but this page links are not displayed. any idea?

$paginator->setItemCountPerPage ( 12 )->setPageRange ( 20 ) solves the problem
