Very nice Zend Translate tutorials

We've started using this approach, but we have some hardcoded texts in javascript files (.js) which are appended in the header of layouts.
The question is how can we use Zend Translate inside these javascript files? Is it even possible?

Another issue we have is that we are using a navigation.xml file to create breadcrumbs and menu's. We should be able to translate texts inside this XML. Do you have any ideas on how this could be done?
